Our brown girls need to see images that look like themselves. Not seeing these images showcases a world that says, “You don’t exist. You don’t matter.” Children do wonder why they don’t see images like what they see in the mirror. Impressionable and vulnerable, they emulate or desire to be what they see. Why should we "encourage" them to be anything else but who they are? We are prettiness in every shade.  Since we could not find clothes with beautiful brown girls our babies could identify with, we decided to create them. This is to empower and encourage the worthiness that they should feel. Representation matters, why?

Every design is created with the entire black community in mind. We promise to showcase our pretty brown girls in a fun, non-threatening, positive way. Models and designs will be appropriate, socially conscious, and all the way together. One time for #blackgirlmagic!
